Other similar disciplines such as outdoor education as well as experiential education are also present.</p> <p>Environmental education aims in development of various skills, intelligence as well as values that develops behavior as according to the environment. It does not refers to merely formal schooling. A wide range of non-formal education is also involved apart from the formal one. One the greatest event of environmental education is National Environmental Education Week. It is an event that is celebrated in United States. <p>This Environmental education week helps enhancing the educational effect of Earth Day by developing a total week activities such as preparation for education, learning, and various actions in K-12 classrooms, nature centers, asylum, exhibitions, aquariums etc. Participation in such week stimulates students in comparing their schools, homes, as well as communities.
